Job summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support industrial and manufacturing environments. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot systems, and ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards to keep facilities reliable and safe.

You will service power distribution equipment, motors, and controls while maintaining safety and documentation for audits. The role requires strong electrical knowledge, hands-on skills, and a willingness to travel

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and installations
• Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies
• Proficient with electrical tools, diagnostic instruments, and testing equipment
• Able to interpret arc-flash studies and safety protocols
• Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E and related safety rules
• Strong scheduling and reporting for maintenance activities
• Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat and faults
• Inspect electrical components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage
• Clean, lubricate, and service electrical equipment for reliability
• Test power distribution systems, control equipment, and motors for proper function
• Assess equipment condition and maintenance risks for improvements
• Enforce safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash awareness
• Support EHS initiatives and safe work practices across tasks
• Document inspections, test results, and corrective actions
• Identify issues early to minimize downtime and cost impacts
• Communicate findings with customers, supervisors, and teams
• Lead and enforce site safety requirements to prevent incidents
