Job summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. You will ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency of facility electrical infrastructure while supporting uptime and continuous operations.

Responsibilities include testing per NFPA 70B/NETA, infrared thermography, visual inspections, preventive maintenance, documentation, and safety program enforcement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E and NFPA 70B.
• Experience developing preventive maintenance strategies.
• Ability to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat and faults.
• Inspect electrical components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage.
• Service electrical equipment to ensure performance and longevity.
• Test power distribution systems, controls, and motors for proper operation.
• Document inspections, test results, corrective actions, and recommendations.
