Job summary

Amteck seeks Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings. Duties include testing to NFPA 70B/NETA standards, infrared thermography, and ensuring safety and reliability of power distribution equipment.

Qualified candidates bring strong electrical theory, power distribution knowledge, and hands-on diagnostic skills, with a willingness to travel and uphold rigorous safety and documentation

Qualifications

• NFPA 70B compliance and testing procedures.
• NFPA 70E, OSHA, NEC knowledge relevant to electrical safety and maintenance.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing in accordance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify heat signatures and faults.
• Inspect wiring, components, and connections for wear or damage.
• Clean, lubricate, and service electrical equipment for reliability.
• Test power distribution systems, controls, and motors for correct operation.
• Assess equipment conditions to identify risks and improvements.
• Enforce safety procedures and lockout/tagout
• Document inspections, tests, corrective actions, and recommendations.
• Communicate findings to customers and team members.
• Promote company safety program and field safety requirements.
