Job summary

Amteck, a nationally recognized Top 50 Electrical Design-Build Contractor, is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. You will work with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards to keep facility electrical infrastructure reliable and safe.

The role requires performing infrared thermography, visual inspections, and documentation while upholding strict safety practices like

Qualifications

Industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial installations.
Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies.
Proficiency with diagnostic instruments and testing equipment.
Familiarity with arc-flash safety rules and standards.
Experience with NFPA 70B/NETA testing protocols.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing to NFPA 70B and NETA standards.
Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults.
Inspect wiring, components for wear or damage; ensure proper connections.
Service power distribution equipment, motors, and controls for reliability.
Document inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
Enforce safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
Communicate with customers and team about equipment condition and work performed.
Support EHS initiatives and safe work practices.
Travel up to 100% as required.
