Job summary

Amteck is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. The role emphasizes NFPA 70B compliance, OEM specs, and NETA standards to ensure reliability, safety, and uptime of facility electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities include infrared thermography, visual inspections, safe servicing of equipment, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance (prefer 5+ years).
• Knowledge of NFPA 70B, NEC, NFPA 70E and OSHA standards.
• Ability to develop preventive maintenance strategies.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and NETA.
• Identify faults via infrared thermography and inspections.
• Service power distribution equipment, motors, and control systems.
• Document inspections, tests, and repairs accurately.
• Uphold safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
• Communicate work status to customers and team members.
