Job summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. You will follow NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards to keep facility electrical infrastructure reliable and safe.

Qualifications

• Ideally 5+ years of experience in an industrial electrical maintenance setting.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial installations.
• Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies aligned with industry standards.
• High proficiency with diagnostic instruments, arc-flash safety, and LOTO procedures.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify heat signatures and faults.
• Inspect components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage.
• Lubricate and service equipment to ensure performance and longevity.
• Test power distribution, controls, and motors to verify functionality.
• Document inspections, results, actions, and recommendations.
• Follow safe work practices including arc-flash awareness and LOTO.
• Communicate with customers, supervisors, and team members about work done.
