Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings, ensuring NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards are met to keep facilities running safely.

You will service power distribution equipment, motors, and controls, document results, and uphold safety programs including LOTO and arc-flash awareness, with travel up to 100% as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of NEC rules and OSHA/NFPA safety standards.
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and NETA.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat signatures and potential electrical faults.
• Complete visual inspections of electrical components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage.
• Clean, lubricate, and service electrical equipment to ensure proper performance.
• Communicate work status and equipment condition to customers and supervisors at job sites.
