Job summary
Amteck is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. The role emphasizes NFPA 70B, OEM specifications, and NETA standards to ensure safety, reliability, and uptime.
The technician will service power distribution equipment, motors, and controls, maintain documentation, and adhere to LOTO and arc-flash safety practices while supporting EHS initiatives and customer
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of electrical theory and power distribution.
- Experience in industrial maintenance with preventive maintenance focus.
- Proficient with diagnostic instruments and testing equipment.
- Familiar with arc-flash safety practices and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and NETA standards.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inspection and test documentation.
- Follow LOTO, arc-flash safety, and safety program requirements.
- Collaborate with customers and team members to improve reliability and uptime.
- Identify maintenance risks and assist in planning corrective actions.
- Prepare and review electrical reports and project information.
- Travel as needed up to 100% of the time.
