Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. You will work to ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards, supporting uptime and safe operations across power distribution equipment, motors, and controls.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, strong safety focus, and the ability to travel up to 100%.

Qualifications

Ideally 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
Strong understanding of electrical theory and power distribution.
Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies.
Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and reporting.
Familiarity with NFPA 70B, NFPA 70E, and NETA standards.
Commitment to safety and ability to follow safety procedures.
Ability to read construction drawings and documentation.
Willingness to travel frequently up to 100%.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NET A standards.
Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults.
Inspect components for wear and damage; document findings.
Service power distribution equipment, motors, and controls.
Maintain accurate inspection and test documentation.
Enforce safety programs, including LOTO and arc-flash practices.
Communicate work performed and equipment condition to customers and supervisors.
Support EHS initiatives and uphold company safety policies.
