Job summary

Amteck is seeking Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. The role ensures NFPA 70B, OEM specifications, and NETA standards while maintaining uptime and safety.

This position requires travel up to 100%, strong knowledge of power distribution and controls, and proficient use of diagnostic tools, with clear communication to document findings and coordinate with customers and teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70B and NFPA 70E.
• Knowledge of NEC rules and regulations.
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and NETA standards.
• Inspect and repair power distribution equipment, motors, and controls.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults.
• Maintain safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
• Document inspections and test results, and report findings.
• Communicate with customers and team about work performed and equipment condition.
• Support EHS initiatives and ensure uptime and reliability.
