Job summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards while maintaining reliability, safety, and uptime.

Travel up to 100% may be required. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, strong knowledge of NEC/OSHA rules, and experience with electrical testing equipment and infrared

Qualifications

5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
Strong knowledge of NFPA 70B, NEC, OSHA NFPA 70E.
Experience developing preventive maintenance strategies.
Proficient with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic instruments.
Willingness to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
Conduct infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat and faults.
Inspect electrical components for wear or damage.
Service electrical equipment to ensure performance and longevity.
Test power distribution systems, controls, and motors for proper function.
Document inspections, results, actions, and recommendations.
Follow safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
Support EHS initiatives and safe work practices.
Communicate with customers, supervisors, and team members about work performed.
Maintain company safety program and site safety requirements.
