Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards while supporting uptime and safety.

The role involves servicing power distribution equipment, motors, controls, and related components at client facilities. Strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and effective communication with customers and teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial installations.
• Ability to develop preventive maintenance strategies aligned with standards.
• Proficient with electrical tools, diagnostics, and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify heat signatures and faults.
• Inspect wiring and components for wear, contamination, or damage.
• Service equipment to ensure performance, longevity, and safety.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, tests, actions, and recommendations.
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
• Travel as required to customer sites for maintenance tasks.
