Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in New Johnsonville, TN is seeking an Electrical Designer with 2+ years of industrial experience to design electrical/instrumentation layouts under supervision at an active facility.

The ideal candidate will produce detailed drawings, MCC single lines, and interconnect diagrams while applying NEC standards and staying aligned with project scopes. This role emphasizes on-site support during startup and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualificações

• Familiar with NEC and electrical design codes.
• Ability to perform lighting level calculations.
• Ability to size wire, conduit and overcurrent protection.
• Ability to perform voltage drop calculations.
• Ability to route conduit and cable tray.
• Ability to estimate completion of assigned tasks.
• Knowledge of CAD drafting standards.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with 2D AutoCAD and Microstation; 3D AutoCAD desirable.
• Good verbal and written communication.

Responsabilidades

• Produce installation details, motor control center (MCC) single lines, electric room layouts and grounding.
• Create cable schedules, control panel layouts and wiring diagrams.
• Develop lighting, power and instrumentation plans under minimal supervision.
• Communicate scope and design changes promptly.
• Provide on-site assistance during startup.
