Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking an experienced Electrical/Instrumentation Designer to perform complete design tasks under supervision. You will develop installation details, MCC single lines, room layouts and control panel drawings for industrial projects.

Responsibilities include lighting, grounding, power and instrumentation plans, plus on-site startup support and scope changes communication. A 4+ year background and NEC knowledge are required.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD required.
0 4+ years of relevant industrial electrical/instrumentation drafting and design experience.
Familiarity with NEC and ability to perform lighting and power calculations.
Ability to route conduit, design cable trays and sizing of components.

Responsibilities

Produce installation details, motor control center single lines and electric room layouts.
Create motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules and control panel layouts.
Develop grounding, lighting, power and instrumentation plans under minimal supervision.
Provide on-site assistance during startup and communicate scope/design changes promptly.
