Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking an I & E Designer with 8+ years in industrial electrical and instrumentation drafting. You will design complex systems, produce MCC single lines, control panels, layouts, and installation documents under supervision, while guiding junior drafters.

You will apply NEC standards, size conduits, and develop 480VAC and 15kV/5kV equipment specs. Collaboration with project teams and on-site startup support are essential.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with NEC and current standards.
• Ability to size wire, conduit and OCP for lighting and power.
• Ability to develop equipment specs for 480VAC and 15kV/5kV with review.

Responsibilities

• Design complex electrical and instrumentation systems per specs.
• Produce installation details, MCC single lines, cables and layouts.
• Coordinate with staff and discipline lead; supervise less experienced drafters.
