Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a skilled technician to implement and maintain electrical power circuits, control and automation systems across pipeline and plant facilities. You will install, calibrate, and repair PLC and electronic equipment while performing preventative maintenance and inspections.

The role requires a high school diploma with 1–3 years of related experience, knowledge of NEC, reading blueprints, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

Requires working knowledge of National Electric Codes.
Reads and interprets electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams.
Knowledge of electronic test instruments and equipment.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license; CDL may be required.
Strong emphasis on safety and accident-free performance.
Basic computer skills (MS Office).
Strong verbal and written communication and customer focus.
Ability to work in a team and follow directions and schedules.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair various pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, electronic, and PLC control systems.
Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers and auxiliary equipment.
Lead changes based on analytical testing.
Assist engineering personnel with evaluation and maintenance of grounding systems.
Complete documentation and record keeping; follow standards and regulatory requirements.
