Job summary
Kinder Morgan, Inc. in New Mexico seeks an electrical maintenance professional to install, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot electric power circuits, control and automation systems across pipeline facilities. The role requires 1–3 years of instrumentation and electrical experience, knowledge of NE Codes, reading blueprints, and a strong safety focus. Expect preventive maintenance, calibration, and coordination with contractors to ensure reliable operations.
Qualifications
High School Diploma with 1-3 years of instrumentation, automation, electrical controls experience.
Working knowledge of National Electric Codes.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints/diagrams.
Must possess valid driver’s license; CDL may be required.
Operator qualifications and certifications as needed for job duties.
Proficiency with basic computer tasks and MS Office.
Strong math, communication, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
Install, inspect, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and adjust pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and PLC control systems.
Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, compressors, drivers, and ancillary equipment.
Complete I&M checks on control systems and maintain switch gear/power distribution.
Lead changes from analytical testing and support facility grounding system work.
Oversee third-party construction/maintenance activities and ensure safety/environmental compliance.
Document and record-keep all activities; ensure compliance with standards and tariffs.
