Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a skilled technician at Watkins Station in Colorado to install, inspect, and maintain electrical and PLC control systems across pipeline and plant facilities. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and coordination with operations teams.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, I&M checks, and troubleshooting to ensure robust performance. Travel to sites and overtime may be required based on operations and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints/diagrams.
• Knowledge of electronic test instruments and equipment.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license ( CDL may be required).
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with a team and follow directions.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, electric and PLC control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, compressors, drivers and auxiliary equipment.
• Conduct I&M checks on control systems and maintain electrical switch gear.
• Lead changes from analytical testing and coordinate with third parties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety/environmental regulations and company standards.
