Job summary

fairlife, LLC is seeking an IC Technician to continuously evaluate and support process control systems. You will work closely with maintenance, operations, and outside contractors to configure control modules, batch programs, and HMI graphics.

The role emphasizes standardization, training, and commissioning across projects. The position requires 3+ years in industrial controls, strong AB PLC experience, HMI/SCADA skills, and IEC 61131-3 programming knowledge.

Qualifications

• Three years of maintenance experience in industrial control systems and troubleshooting.
• Experience with PLCs and AB platforms (SLC 500, CompactLogix, ControlLogix).
• Experience with Wonderware and FTView ME/SE HMI software.
• Experience with ControlNet and EtherNet/IP networks.
• Strong PLC skills including admin and maintenance tasks.
• IEC 61131-3 languages (ladder, FBD, ST, IL, SFC).
• Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related training; additional professional training.
• Industrial electrician training is a plus.
• Experience with Visual Basic programming.
• English proficiency in reading/writing.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain instruments and controls to move materials to a customer-ready state.
• Plan, analyze and control process quality as part of a team.
• Provide technical training to lower-level personnel.
• Inspect, repair and adjust PLCs, HMIs, and related equipment using electrical test tools and diagrams.
• Coordinate repair and replacement of instruments and control systems; monitor processes for faults.
• Maintain and update all process control network systems.
