Job summary

fairlife, LLC in Coopersville, MI seeks an IC Technician to improve process control reliability and support project implementations. You will configure PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs, train end users, and standardize control logic across systems.

The role partners with maintenance and operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient production. Candidates should have strong PLC/HMI skills and a background in electrical engineering or related training.

Qualifications

• Three years maintenance experience in industrial control systems.
• Experience with Allen Bradley SLC 500, CompactLogix & ControlLogix.
• Experience with Wonderware and FTView software.
• Experience with ControlNet and EtherNet/IP networks.
• Proficiency in IEC 61131-3 languages (ladder, FBD, ST, IL, SFC).
• Associate degree in electrical/electronic engineering or related training.
• Experience with machinery repair and control systems.
• Industrial electrician training is a plus.
• Experience programming in Visual Basic.
• English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized maintenance on instruments and controls.
• Work as part of a team to control process quality.
• Provide technical training to junior staff.
• Inspect and repair PLCs and HMIs with diagnostic tools.
• Coordinate repairs for failed control systems to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and update process control network systems.
