Job summary

Saft is seeking an Industrial Controls Technician to support plant engineering and facilities. The role involves repairing and calibrating complex electrical and electronic controls, programming PLCs and HMIs, and collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams on projects and upgrades.

The candidate should have 5 years of ICT experience, an Electronics associate degree or equivalent, and be proficient with Allen-Bradley programming, RS Logic, and related automation systems.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in an Industrial Controls Technician role, with progressive levels of responsibility.
• Associate Degree in Electronics or equivalent desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on complex repairs and adjustments.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and automation equipment.
• Program and update PLC/HMI software and related controls.
• Read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Maintain equipment, backups of machine programs, and calibration records.
