Job summary

Saft is seeking an Industrial Controls Technician to maintain and repair production equipment including PLC/HMI platforms, robots, and sensor systems. You will troubleshoot complex controls, program Allen-Bradley PLCs, modify electrical/hydraulic schematics, and collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to install and upgrade equipment.

Candidates should have 5 years of ICT experience, an associate degree in electronics or equivalent, and the ability to read schematics and use test

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in an Industrial Controls Technician role with increasing responsibilities.
• Associate Degree in Electronics or equivalent preferred.
• Hands-on programming/troubleshooting of PLCs and control systems.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics; familiarity with NEC.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley programming (500) and RS Logic is desired.

Responsibilities

• Repair and calibrate complex electronic equipment and controls.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, servo drives, and automation equipment.
• program and modify PLC/HMI as required; back up machine programs.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and vendors on projects.
• Maintain safety, documentation, and equipment with calibration records.
