Job summary

Forvia, a leading automotive technology group, seeks a Maintenance Technician in Michigan to analyze downtime and coordinate preventive maintenance in a fast-paced plant.

You will be responsible for TPM activities, equipment maintenance, and the creation of standard procedures, while training staff and ensuring safety and quality standards. A strong robotics background and TPM experience are required.

Qualifications

• Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical or related engineering.
• 3 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance.
• Maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic and welding equipment.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Industrial Maintenance and TPM
• Spare parts inventory management.
• ABB robot knowledge
• KUKA robot knowledge
• FANUC robot knowledge
• VDA 6.1 Quality Systems or similar
• IATF 16949 Quality Systems
• ISO 14001:2015 / ISSO 45001:2018

Responsibilities

• Machine and UAP downtime analysis.
• Labor analysis by Maintenance Technician.
• Weekly analysis of plant downtime indicator; Issuance of monthly reports.
• Preventive Maintenance program weekly.
• Analysis of preventive maintenance.
• Issuance of weekly and monthly preventive maintenance routines; PM software administration.
• Generation of Standard Maintenance work procedures.
• Coordination of the weekly TPM meeting.
• Training of personnel in TPM and Preventive Maintenance topics.
• Maintenance of extraction systems.
