Magna Powertrain in the United States (Michigan) seeks a Maintenance/Controls Specialist to lead installations, upgrades and TPM programs within a world-class manufacturing environment. You will mentor teams, develop work instructions, and uphold 5S standards while improving equipment reliability and uptime.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years' leadership or supervisory experience.
• 3-5 years' Controls experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley and Siemens).
• Knowledge of robotics (ABB and Fanuc) preferred.
• Experience of HMI programming including RS Logic Suite, FTView, and Siemens Programming Suite required.
• Must know networks such as Ethernet/IP, DH+, RIO, DeviceNet, ControlNet, and RS232.
• Must be able to interpret and design electrical schematics.
• Must be continuous improvement minded and understand the 7 wastes to write effective programs.
• Must be able to multitask and work overtime/weekends when required.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute new installations, upgrades and continuous improvements with internal/external resources.
• Assist with TPM program implementation and maintenance.
• Develop work instructions to train operations teams in autonomous maintenance.
• Implement 5S in maintenance and all common areas and sustain it.
• Coach maintenance team on world-class manufacturing practices.
• Troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley and Siemens) and read electrical schematics.
• Improve equipment uptime and process reliability.
• Create, verify and maintain electrical control schematics and program documentation.
