Job summary
FORVIA is seeking a maintenance professional in Michigan to lead machine downtime analysis, TPM initiatives, and preventive maintenance programs within a automotive manufacturing environment. You will coordinate TPM meetings, train personnel, and maintain critical extraction systems while leveraging PLCs and robotics expertise.
The role requires 3–5 years in automotive maintenance, experience with Siemens/Allen Bradley PLCs and ABB/KUKA/FANUC robots, and familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical or related engineering.
- 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic and welding equipment.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Industrial maintenance and TPM.
- Spare parts inventory management.
- Personnel management.
- Siemens PLC, Allen Bradley PLC, ABB/KUKA/FANUC robotics.
- IATF 16949, ISO 14001/45001 and VDA 6.1 quality systems.
Responsibilities
- Machine and UAP downtime analysis.
- Labor analysis by Maintenance Technician.
- Weekly analysis of downtime indicator; monthly issuance.
- Preventive Maintenance program management.
- PM software administration.
- Generation of standard maintenance procedures.
- Coordination of weekly TPM meeting.
- Training of personnel in TPM and preventive maintenance topics.
- Maintenance of extraction systems.
