Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain air compressor equipment onsite. The role requires 2–4 years of field experience, with electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawing familiarity.

You will manage time efficiently under supervision and focus on rotary screw and centrifugal technologies. The job involves on-site work, training customers, and travel to customer sites with short notice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years’ experience troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• 1+ years in Electrical/Electronic Tech or HVAC with knowledge of circuits, motors/controls, PLCs.
• Valid driver's license for at least 12 months with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site installation and follow testing procedures.
• Perform on-site planned maintenance.
• Provide troubleshooting and repair support for customers.
• Develop positive relationships with customers and staff.
• Travel to customer sites, often on short notice.
• Submit field service reports and train customers on maintenance.
• Contribute to reports by identifying and isolating problems.
