Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors across our service area. You will use precision tools and read equipment manuals to diagnose issues and ensure operations meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, coordinating parts with the Service Coordinator, and training apprentices.

Qualifications

• 2 years+ experience of troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months with clean record.
• On-call availability with 24/7 requirement during specified weeks.
• Physically demanding role requiring lifting and mobility.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain compressed air systems.
• Collaborate with Service Coordinator to order parts and supplies.
• Train apprentices and fellow Field Service Technicians.
• Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Review wiring diagrams and manuals to ensure proper operation.
