Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain air compressors and related systems across a broad service area in the United States. You will diagnose issues using precision tools and leverage manuals to ensure equipment operates to customer specifications.

The role requires hands-on work, readiness to travel within a 3-hour radius, and a strong customer-service focus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• Valid driver''s license with clean record.
• On-call availability as assigned, with 24/7 coverage during cycles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read wiring schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair rotary screw and reciprocating compressors.
• Coordinate parts and scheduling with Service Coordinator.
• Train apprentices and junior Field Service Technicians.
• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
