Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors across our diverse customer base. You will diagnose equipment with precision tools and reference operation manuals.

This full-time role requires 2+ years of mechanical troubleshooting, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel within the service area. On-call duties are part of the schedule, with a 90-day initial transition.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean record.
• On-call schedule with 24/7 availability periodically; first 90 days exempt from on-call.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors.
• Communicate effectively with customers and teammates; assist Service Coordinator with parts orders.
• Train apprentices and other Field Service Technicians.
• Travel within service area to customer sites; provide hands-on installations and start-ups.
