Job summary

Service Technician role at Ingersoll Rand's Industrial Technologies and Services Division includes installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors, plus related components. Use precision tools and consult operation manuals as needed.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of field experience with compressed air systems, a high school diploma, and HVAC or electrical tech training. A valid driver's license and EPA 608 certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• Experience on compressed air systems/centrifugal technologies/solid controls is a plus.
• Knowledge of service, diagnosis, and startup of rotary and centrifugal air compressors, including dryers and filtration systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Electrical/Electronic Technology or HVAC knowledge with circuits, motors, PLCs preferred.
• Valid driver's license for 12 months with clean record.
• EPA 608 /F-GAS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Maintain knowledge of field installation and repair requirements.
• Provide technical advice and train customers and field staff.
• Diagnose problems and report findings clearly to manufacturing facility.
• Maintain accurate records and time cards weekly.
