Job summary

Hydrite Chemical Co. is seeking a Business Development Manager (Industrial) to drive margin, volume, and revenue in the Industrial segment. You will identify, develop, and close new opportunities, manage a growing pipeline, and collaborate with the Sales Manager to create annual plans.

Candidates should reside in Northern Ohio and be comfortable with frequent overnight travel. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with external and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must have the ability to pass all pre-employment testing including background check and drug screening.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate a sustainable customer base from scratch.
• Meet new business objectives including margin growth.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to assemble and execute an annual business plan.
• Work with Sales Manager to maximize margins of new projects.
• Identify and build strong relationships with key decision makers at target accounts.
• Maintain a sales funnel and pipeline using Salesforce and BI reports.
