Job summary

Hydrite Chemical Co. is seeking an Account Manager - Industrial to drive growth through field-based sales, develop and manage customer relationships, and sell across Hydrite’s full chemical portfolio for manufacturing and industrial customers.

You will own and grow a defined territory, develop strategic plans, pursue new opportunities, provide technical support, and collaborate with operations and supply chain to ensure product availability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales or related technical experience.
• Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and job-specific software.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a defined sales territory with a focus on new business development, account expansion, and sales growth.
• Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans with sales leadership to achieve revenue, margin, and retention goals.
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities and expand penetration within existing accounts.
• Provide technical expertise and application support, delivering hands-on service and solution-based recommendations.
• Design customer programs leveraging Hydrite’s capabilities to create long-term value.
• Analyze sales performance, track data, and forecast volumes for customers in the territory.
• Prepare chemical treatment proposals, service documentation, and call reports.
