Job summary

Border States, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking an Account Manager to manage assigned customer relationships and develop new business in West Texas, including Odessa, Lubbock, Midland, and surrounding markets. You will promote our automation products and coordinate with engineering, operations and channel partners to deliver solutions that improve productivity.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in business, sales, marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of prior distribution, customer service, marketing, quotation or sales experience preferred.
• Experience with contract negotiation and presenting to groups.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales goals established for the role.
• Grow current and prospect accounts by identifying new opportunities.
• Coordinate sales strategies with vendors to maximize customer sales.
• Provide input on pricing, margin strategy, and inventory requirements.
• Assist in pricing and product/service guidance to customers.
