Job summary

EandM in California is seeking Account Managers to sell automation solutions to engineers and operations teams. You will craft solutions based on partnerships with customers, meeting technical and business requirements for each project.

We work with Siemens, Festo, SICK and other manufacturers, and you will be part of a world-class technical team. This role rewards self-motivation, proactive prospecting, and the energy to build new relationships.

Qualifications

Proven sales experience - the ability to initiate customer contact and grow revenue with new and existing customers.
Computer literacy and strong organizational skills, with a commitment to documenting sales activity.
Nice to have: Technical knowledge in industrial automation, networking, or IT.
Nice to have: Sales experience in our industry (or other technical sales experience).
Nice to have: Familiarity with PLCs, industrial sensors, or pneumatics.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain direct customer relationships, including prospecting and building relationships with new accounts.
Log sales activities (phone calls, site visits, quotes) in our CRM to stay on track.
Evaluate potential accounts by assessing account potential, competition, and business needs.
Provide sales support at EandM roadshows and workshops.
Follow up on leads generated through EandM's ongoing marketing programs.
Identify the cost of a customer's problem and deliver a solution of superior value.
