Job summary

Border States is seeking an Account Manager to manage assigned customer accounts, develop new business, and maximize sales across products and services. You will coordinate strategies with preferred vendors, input cost savings data, and support pricing and purchasing decisions to stay competitive.

The role requires building strong relationships, meeting sales goals, and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field is required or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with contract negotiation and presenting to groups is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English is required.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales goals and targets.
• Grow assigned accounts and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Coordinate sales strategies with vendors to maximize customer sales potential.
• Provide input to pricing and purchasing on competitive issues and margins.
• Lead and participate in sales meetings and product training as needed.
