Job summary

MG2 in Minneapolis, MN, seeks an Architectural Staff - Industrial to lead and coordinate design through all project phases. The role focuses on production deliverables, QA/QC, and collaboration with internal teams and external consultants to meet contract requirements.

You will oversee codes, feasibility, and permitting coordination, while guiding documentation standards and ensuring alignment with project scope and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Demonstrated experience using collaboration software such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating architectural construction documents; project types and complexity vary.
• Experience in construction administration including RFI/submittal reviews, field reports, and close-out procedures.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for job communications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production and coordination of contract deliverables: surveys, drawings, documents, exhibits, specifications.
• Collaborate with internal design staff to integrate deliverables into contract docs per design intent and standards.
• Coordinate deliverables with external consultants and project partners.
• Generate code research and feasibility studies, coordinating with AHJ representatives.
• Provide admin support: agendas, minutes, trackers, permits, logs, and project reports.
• Guide staff on MG2 documentation standards and templates; ensure design standards are followed.
• Assist with project specifications aligned to scope and deliverables.
• Participate in QA/QC reviews of deliverables and coordination with consultants.
• Coordinate submittals to AHJs and site-specific processes; support construction phase deliverables.
• Produce timely work aligned with project schedules and budgets.
