Job summary

Accendra Health seeks a Director of Indirect Procurement & Category Management to lead enterprise-wide strategies for indirect spend and supplier governance. You will partner with Finance, HR, IT, and Compliance to drive value, risk management, and continuous improvement across key categories.

The role demands 10+ years in procurement leadership, a strategic mindset, and strong executive-level communication to influence across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive procurement, sourcing, category management, supply chain, or related leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading procurement, sourcing, or category management teams.
• Experience in healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, distribution, or similarly regulated industries preferred.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier management, procurement technology, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the Enterprise Procurement Strategy and category roadmaps.
• Lead procurement planning to optimize total cost of ownership and supplier performance.
• Establish governance frameworks and procurement policies.
• Oversee supplier relationship management and executive governance forums.
• Partner with Finance, HR, IT, Operations, Legal, and Compliance to align procurement priorities.
