Accendra Health is seeking a Director of Indirect Procurement & Category Management to lead enterprise-wide strategies across indirect spend. You will partner with executive teams to align sourcing, supplier governance, and value creation initiatives while guiding a procurement team toward best-in-class performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive procurement, sourcing, category management, supply chain, or related leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading procurement, sourcing, or category management teams.
• Experience managing enterprise-wide indirect spend programs within healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, distribution, or similarly regulated industries preferred.
• Demonstrated success delivering transformational procurement initiatives and enterprise value creation.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier management, procurement technology, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year indirect procurement and category management strategy aligned with objectives and targets.
• Translate priorities into category roadmaps, sourcing plans, supplier strategies, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead planning processes optimizing total cost of ownership, service levels, and supplier performance.
• Establish category governance frameworks, sourcing standards, and procurement policies.
• Oversee management of indirect spend categories and supplier portfolios.
• Guide development of category strategies based on market intelligence and stakeholder priorities.
• Ensure value through cost optimization, efficiency, and risk reduction.
• Partner with executives to align procurement with budgeting and forecasting.
• Lead supplier relationships and executive governance forums.
• Drive procurement modernization, analytics, and data-driven decision making.
• Coach and develop category teams; foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.
