Job summary

Lakeshore Learning Materials is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to expand our reach in the K–12 educational space. You will cultivate new and existing relationships with school districts and educational programs, serving our customers in early childhood and educational markets while exploring new segments like middle and high schools.

In addition to a competitive base salary, there is no cap on commissions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful sales experience in educational markets.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Solid presentation skills and ability to speak to customer needs at all levels.
• Strong work ethic, team player mentality and ability to perform outstanding work from home.
• Candidates should reside in the Indianapolis area and travel within the territory, including 1–2 overnight stays per week (≈50% travel).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM Platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
• Great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Secure new and repeat business by building relationships with key customers in the assigned geography (often multiple states).
• Partner with internal sales resources to support needs and grow business.
• Regularly call on and maintain relationships with customers in the territory.
• Collaborate with RVP/RD to build and adjust sales strategies.
• Identify key customers and uncover their needs.
• Communicate effectively with internal HQ departments and sales channels to streamline operations and increase sales.
• Represent Lakeshore at local, state, and national conferences to promote the brand.
