Job summary

Amperos Health, Inc. is seeking an HR & People Operations Executive to build and run the people function for its India team. You’ll support associates, team leads, QA specialists, and managers worldwide, with guidance from US leadership as we scale.

This is a ground-up role owning recruiting coordination, offers, onboarding, documentation, compliance, and payroll administration. You’ll help create structured onboarding, regular engagement touchpoints, and clear leave and conduct policies while

Qualifications

3–5 years in HR operations, people operations, or HR generalist roles supporting an India-based team, with hands-on payroll and onboarding experience.
Working knowledge of Indian labour law and statutory compliance (EPF, ESI, tax withholding, Shops and Establishments Act).
Experience building HR processes or policies where none existed, not just administering mature ones.

Responsibilities

Recruiting & offers: Partner with hiring managers to define roles and coordinate sourcing, screening, and interview scheduling.
Onboarding: Own the end-to-end new hire experience from offer acceptance through the first 90 days, and ensure access, equipment, and plan.
Employee engagement: Build a regular engagement cadence and roll out policies across teams.
Payroll & compliance: Administer monthly payroll, ensure compliance, and handle offboarding and final settlements.
