Job summary

TechnoMile is seeking a People Operations Manager to build the operational backbone of a fast-growing, two-country people function (US-India). You’ll own HRIS, compensation, onboarding, payroll, and compliance, and you’ll implement AI-powered workflow improvements across the org.

You will manage India-based HR leadership, guide platform migrations, and shape scalable processes as the company scales, including through acquisitions. This is a player/coach role with real ownership from day one.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years in People Operations or HR Operations with scaling/professionalizing experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing/managing HRIS platforms, compensation tools, and workflow automation.
• Experience supporting US and international employee populations (India a plus).
• Player/coach mentality, capable of both hands-on work and designing for growth.

Responsibilities

• Own HRIS strategy and administration, including a planned platform migration.
• Lead compensation platform implementation and build job architecture, career levels, and salary bands for US/India.
• Redesign onboarding to a consistent, scalable experience across both countries.
• Own offboarding processes and standardized exit interviews to gather data.
• Manage employee lifecycle: promotions, transfers, role changes, terminations with consistency.
• Oversee benefits administration and broker relationships.
• Ensure compliance across geographies, including pay transparency requirements.
• Oversee payroll operations for US and India.
• Drive workflow automation using AI to replace manual processes.
• Provide people data and analytics for leadership visibility.
• Lead M&A system migrations and data onboarding.
• Coach and develop India-based HR Lead.
