Job summary

Valor Healthcare is a veteran- and physician-led provider delivering mental health services to service members, veterans, and families. The clinician will deliver individual and group psychotherapy, conduct cognitive screenings, and assist in crisis interventions within a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates must hold a state independent license, have at least two years of practice, and preferably experience with veterans.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice independently in any state
• Minimum 2 years of independent therapy experience
• Preferred veterans/military experience
• Familiarity with DSM-5 presentations and evidence-based interventions
• Knowledge of mental health assessment and crisis procedures
• Experience with interdisciplinary treatment teams
• Proficiency with EHRs and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy for mental health presentations
• Conduct cognitive screenings to address functional questions
• Deliver crisis intervention and risk assessment
• Complete psychosocial assessments and determine diagnoses
• Develop and implement treatment plans and referrals
• Maintain documentation and compliance with regulations
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and veterans programs
