Job summary

Valor Healthcare is seeking licensed mental health professionals to provide individual and group psychotherapy for veterans and military-connected individuals. The role includes psychosocial assessments, cognitive screenings, and crisis interventions as part of a collaborative care team.

Candidates should have independent licensure in any state, and preferably PsyPact eligibility or a psychology doctoral degree.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice independently in ANY state.
• PsyD/PhD or equivalent with psychology credentials; PsyPact preferred.
• Experience providing therapy independently for at least 2 years.
• Experience with veterans and military populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group interventions for mental health cases including sleep, pain, adherence to regimens, and adjustment to illness.
• Conduct cognitive screenings to assess functioning.
• Offer crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed.
• Perform psychosocial assessments to determine patient and family needs.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and knowledge of veterans benefits and services.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and ensure appropriate referrals.
