Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice independently in ANY state; Psychologist, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW.
• PsyPact in addition to state license may be required for Psychologist.
• Education: master's or doctoral degree per license type.
• Experience: minimum 2 years practicing therapy independently.
• Preferred: experience providing therapy with veterans and military members.
• Familiar with DSM-5 and evidence-based psychological interventions.
• Knowledge of mental health assessment and crisis procedures.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records and standard office software.
• U.S. citizen and resident of the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group interventions for health psychology presentations and related stressors.
• Perform cognitive screening and psychosocial assessments to determine needs.
• Deliver emergency/crisis interventions and develop management plans.
• Offer psychotherapy as appropriate, including individual, group, or family formats.
• Maintain knowledge of veterans' benefits and community resources for referrals.
• Provide case management throughout the continuum of care.
• Adhere to documentation requirements and encounter coding standards.
