Job summary

Stine Seed Company is seeking an Independent Sales Representative to cover Calhoun, Jackson, Branch, Hillsdale, Lenawee counties in Michigan. You will act as the primary ambassador of the Stine brand, grow existing accounts, recruit new ones, and implement sales programs while collaborating with the Regional Sales Agronomist.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in ag, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a proven ability to develop dealer networks and meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of agricultural experience, including agronomy, crop production or seed sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales techniques, strong negotiating skills, and ability to overcome obstacles.
• Experience in dealer development and retention.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services applicable to the territory.
• Manage existing accounts and recruit new accounts to increase sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine's sales programs and policies within the territory to meet sales goals.
• Work with the Regional Sales Agronomist to provide sales support within the territory.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with customers and potential customers.
