Job summary

Stine Seed Company is seeking an Independent Sales Representative to act as the primary ambassador of the Stine brand within an assigned territory in Union County, Ohio. You will develop agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products, manage existing accounts, recruit new ones, and collaborate with the Regional Sales Agronomist to deliver sales programs and support to growers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ag experience including agronomy, crop production or seed sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales techniques with negotiating skills and ability to overcome obstacles.
• Demonstrated success in dealer development and retention.
• Initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision to meet goals.
• Preference for candidates who build strong grower relationships and achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services applicable to the territory.
• Manage existing accounts & recruit new accounts to increase sales.
• Implement Stine sales programs and policies to meet sales goals for the district.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Agronomist to provide high level sales support in the territory.
• Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers, personally or through a designated seller.
