Job summary

Bridgewell in Massachusetts seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist people with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential settings. You will help residents with daily living skills, supervision, and skills training while addressing behavioral and medical needs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (5+ years in a similar role preferred) and a valid US driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 5+ years in the same role preferred.
• 1 year experience with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to document clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living skills support and supervision.
• Help residents develop independence and decision-making.
• Administer medications per MAP regulations where applicable.
• Maintain progress notes and shift documentation.
• Transport and accompany residents to medical, recreational, and community activities.
