Job summary

Bridgewell in Lynn, MA seeks a Direct Support professional to assist people in residential services with daily living skills and safety. You will document progress, supervise activities, and support access to community resources.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or 5+ years of relevant experience), a valid US driver’s license, and ability to drive a van. CPR/FA/MAP certifications are encouraged, with Bridgewell offering ongoing training and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 5+ years of verified experience in the same position.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to drive a large wheelchair van with a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with daily living skills during day, evening and overnight hours.
• Develop independence by enabling decisions and skill development.
• Administer medications per MAP regulations and maintain required documentation.
• Maintain progress notes, shift checklists and program records per policy.
• Transport and accompany participants to medical, recreational and other activities.
