Job summary

Bridgewell in Massachusetts is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. You will provide daily living skills training, supervision, and supports across shifts, with emphasis on decision-making, independence, and safety.

A strong emphasis on documentation, regulatory compliance, and teamwork with guardians and staff is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skills training in activities of daily living.
• Assist people to develop independence and decision-making.
• Maintain documentation per regulatory standards and agency policies.
• Administer medications per MAP regulations where applicable.
• Transport and accompany clients to activities.
• Perform household duties and safety checks.
• Engage guardians and stakeholders in care planning.
