Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5+ years of verified experience in the same position.
• Experience with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with skills training in daily living activities during day/evening/overnight hours.
• Create opportunities for residents to develop independence and decision-making.
• Support services according to regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
• Administer medications according to MAP regulations where applicable.
• Maintain documentation including daily progress notes and shift checklists.
• Develop positive relationships with guardians and stakeholders.
